South East Warriors are a local basketball club playing in the McKinnon Basketball Association.  As a club we are actively building and encouraging girls to join the game of basketball and learn new skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.  
We have designed a specific girls development program suitable for girls aged 8-12yrs which will be led by 2 talented local female basketballers.  By introducing skills and game knowledge girls are then welcome to join a team for the Winter Season competition (terms 2 & 3).

Date/ Time:  Tuesday  4pm – 5pm from 23th Feb – 30th Mar.

Location:   Tucker Road Bentleigh Primary School Gym (enter via carpark).  Note Cars must be parked on the street and walk in.

About our Coaches – Felicity Hilford & Emily Whitehouse

Flic has played elite level basketball in NBL1 and youth leagues. She has been MVP of the Youth League Championship Women (YLCW) competition and part of the All Star Five for Basketball Victoria’s 2018 competition. Flic has just accepted a Division 1 US College Basketball offer in Houston, Texas for later in the year.

Emily is a rising star playing for the championship women at McKinnon in her very first season of Big V basketball. She is currently training with Melbourne's NBL1 team. Emily is passionate about introducing girls to basketball and sharing her skills.

The program is limited to a small group so limited numbers apply. Registrations close 18 Feb.
